Welcome to the Steagus Games RPG Playtester Application!

Thank you for your interest in becoming a playtester for the Steagus Games RPG system. This is your opportunity to experience the game early and help shape its development with your experience and feedback.

Before You Apply
Please take a moment to read Setting the Stage to get a feel for the system. Whether you agree or have a different perspective—and you’re committed to meaningful feedback—your insight is welcome.

✔ Read Setting the Stage to get a sense of the game’s design philosophy and tone.
✔ Complete the Playtester Application form to be considered as a play tester. CLOSED
✔ The application window closes August 31th 2025.
✔ Selected playtesters will be notified by October 1st, 2025, and provided with a link to sign a Nondisclosure Agreement (NDA) before gaining access to system materials.

If you haven’t received an email by then, we sincerely appreciate your interest, but we need to keep the initial testing group small. If you’ve opted to be placed on our alternate list, we may reach out for future testing opportunities.

Because of this, AI-generated artwork will not be used in our system. We recognize that this decision may result in leaner pages in our first edition, but we are okay with that. We trust you are as well. Quality over quantity matters to us, and we want to ensure that every piece of art in our game is crafted by talented artists who deserve to be recognized and compensated for their work.

As a small company, paying artists is a significant part of our budget—but unfortunately, our budget is small. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we grow and continue to invest in real artists to bring this vision to life.
